  • ACT!vate Omaha is a community wide initiative aimed at encouraging all Omahan's to be active as a part of daily living.
     
  • Active Living by Design is a national program of The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and is a part of the UNC School of Public Health in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. ACT!vateOmaha was funded by this program.
     
  • Community Initiatives practice a synergy of the art and science of building healthy and sustainable communities. They are committed to transforming the performance of organizations, corporations and their collaborative community partnerships.
     
  • The Coalition for Healthier Cities and Communities is the US network of the healthy cities and communities movement.
     
  • International Healthy Cities Foundation is a site that provides information regarding community and urban.
     
  • The Association for Community Health Improvement is a membership association for people committed to improving community health and well-being. Our Healthy Community Partnership is a member of this organization.
     
  • Search Institute collaborates with others to promote long-term organizational and cultural change that supports the healthy development of all children and adolescents.
